Heather Glen Hydro & Soil is a grow store and garden supply center conveniently located off I-80 serving Auburn, Grass Valley, Colfax, Weimar and Applegate. Owner operated by the Husband & Wife team of Russell & Alecia Weisman, Heather Glen prides itself in a knowledge based approach to gardening.
Russell has over a decade of experience in indoor & outdoor gardening and works closely with soil suppliers to carry high quality soils & amendments in the store. He also has extensive knowledge on indoor lighting and build-outs.
Alecia is a micro-biologist, recently earning her masters at University of Nevada, Reno in Hydrology. As a microbial enthusiast, Alecia promotes the importance of microbial food-webs in soil; and can also recommend strategies to conserve water. She is the general manager of the store and provides excellent customer service.
